Epiphany – January 6
France celebrates Epiphany in an edible way. For several days from Christmas until the Feast of Epiphany, the French line up at bakeries to buy the “galette des rois” – the “Cake of Kings.” They bring these to dinner parties and enjoy them as snacks and with mid-afternoon tea. The tradition of the treats dates back to the 14th century!
Paris Fashion Week – January 17-21 and January 22-25
Fashion Week brings a special buzz to Paris during January, when designers, celebrities, and fashionistas from around the world converge to see the latest trends in Men’s Ready to Wear and Haute Couture. The best places to see the models are around the venue locations like the Grand Palais, Palais de Tokyo, Espace Eiffel, Palais Brongniart and the Marais Neighborhood.
Maison & Objet (Home and Decoration Trade Show) – January 18-22
This annual trade show is held just outside of the Paris city limits and is the perfect exhibition for remodeling. This Trade show brings inspiration for home decor, interior design, architecture, and lifestyle culture. There are also events and digital platform trends involved in the showcase! It’s definitely worth the trek if you’re passionate about design and decor!
Paris Cocktail Week – January 18-26
Each evening you can discover the Paris cocktails scene in 50 different bars around the City! There are also 9 events with masterclasses and experiences to keep you busy all week!
