2017 Season Intern/Assistant Search in the South of France

Cook’n with Class is currently looking for an English speaking personal assistant/intern for our 2017 season based in the south of France. The position will be primarily based out of the Uzès school but will also involve assignments for our Paris based school. The position is available from April for a period of 3-6 months depending on the candidates availability.
The school offers French cooking classes in English to visiting tourists as well as locals in English. Classes are run from one day to 5 days on our intensive cooking programs. The ideal candidate is a student or recent graduate who is looking to complete an internship in France. The right person would be hard-working, reliable, creative, out-going & motivated – a team player who can work well both collectively and independently. While interest in photography and food and beverage is not must, it would be an added bonus. We are a small business so this is an opportunity to get involved in various aspects of the operations of our cooking school primarily focusing on customer service, promotion, brand management and social media marketing.

About Our School

Cook’n with Class was started in 2007 by French chef Eric Fraudeau, is a French cooking school based in Paris offering French cooking classes ranging from baking, to bread making, cheese & wine tasting, Market and Food tours, all taught in English to small group sizes by professional chefs. Class are one-day lessons allowing visiting tourists to get a taste of French food in a morning, afternoon or evening class. Since its opening it has taught the art of French cuisine to over 30,000 students from all over the world.

In 2015 Cook’n with Class opened its second school, Cook’n with Class Uzès in the South of France, where the focus is on Provencal and Mediterranean cuisine. As in Paris, classes are taught in English in small groups this time by chef Eric Fraudeau himself. More about us here.

Internship Location

The internship is based in the South of France in Uzès. We are located 25 minutes from Nîmes which is our closest train station. The TGV to Paris is 2.5 hours. We are 1 hour by car from Montpellier. Discover Uzès. More details on our location here.

While this this is a paid internship, please note that housing is not included.
