Sarah Tyler has always had an adventurous spirit. After living in France as a child, she hoped to return when she was older. At 21, she took a huge leap and moved to Paris alone. It was there she started her Parisian culinary journey with pastry. She studied at the Ecole Ferrandi, has a double diploma in pastry and cuisine, and worked for nearly 10 years in one of Paris’ well-known department stores, in La Grande Epicerie of Le Bon Marché. She also won the Concours Saveurs Durable (sustainable flavors competition)!
Then this intrepid adventurer took off on a once-in-a-lifetime journey by bike from Paris to South Africa! Not for the faint of heart! Bravo Sarah! She later returned to Ethiopia to help train the staff of a new café to bake their own croissants and pastries. Her current adventures lie in the delicious world of both French pastry and cuisine at Cook’n With Class.
Sarah performed the research and development for all the beautiful treats we have to offer in the Marie Antoinette Experience, and you’ll typically find Sarah in any of our French Desserts, Bread & Pastry classes or our French Cuisine Classes.
