Chef Christian was amazing! This class produced more bread than we could imagine and the minute by minute coordination they have putting this together is absolutely exceptional. The three hours blew by so fast we could not believe we were done, and the amount of bread we produced and then took home was amazing. It was one of the most fun cooking classes. Weโve had anywhere in the world. Tremendous amount of knowledge From chef Christian, and so thoughtful and carefully planned for us for the day. I would highly recommend this class to anyone. Sara was incredibly patient, warm, and a true professional. The atmosphere throughout the workshop was fun and relaxed, her explanations were clear and easy to follow, and she made us feel like real pastry chefs! We were honestly amazed by the รฉclairs we made โ they looked beautiful and tasted absolutely incredible. In fact, they were some of the best pastries we had in Paris! Wonderful cooking experience This was a brilliant Paris experience and very good value for money. Firstly, we had a tour of a gastronomic street in a local, residential neighbourhood, where our guide and chef, Fabrice, explained the beautiful produce for sale. He filled his trolley with ingredients that we were to turn into a four-course meal, once back at the premises of Cookโn with Class. Back at the cooking studio, we had lockers to leave our personal things, and donned our aprons, after a cup of coffee/tea. The menu was explained and we set to work under Fabriceโs guidance. It was all very hands-on with clear instructions. The camaraderie between us all (some Canadians, Americans, a Franco-American and a South African-Australian, was natural) and this was enlivened by the witty Fabrice who kept us laughing while teaching us. Finally, after the meal was ready, we enjoyed an aperitif and pate, before sitting down to the delicious meal which we could say with pride that we had helped prepare. There was generous wine and nobody was rushed. The whole experience lasted comfortably six hours, from the meet-and-greet at the metro, to the fond farewells at the studio. I felt I had made a whole bunch of new friends for the day, and even though travelling solo in Paris for two weeks, I didnโt feel alone or left out. We were one great and happy team. Best of all, I feel confident to be able to try these recipes at home, in particular the cheese soufflรฉ and the ratatouille. I have done many cooking classes in Australia, and some in France, and this was hands-down THE BEST EVER! She explained everything so clearly and shared so much knowledge, helpful tips, and professional techniques throughout the workshop. We learned a lot, had so much fun, and of course, made delicious macarons! The workshop was the perfect combination of learning and enjoyment, and we truly felt that we gained valuable skills that we can take home with us. We are extremely happy with the experience and highly recommend this workshop with Serah.
