Christian Labrosse is a French pastry chef originally from Charolles, in the Saône-et-Loire department in the region of Bourgogne-Franche-Comté in eastern France. Truly dedicated to his art, Christian has been working in cooking environments since the age of 16!
Starting in a small village as an apprentice, he had many adventures and experiences with french pastries. Following his passion, Christian began to explore the culinary treats of the world, starting by working in Hong Kong in the hotel industry, including the famous Mandarin Oriental chain. He followed the hotel industry in various countries such as South Korea and Mexico, becoming an executive pastry chef while teaching french pastries to different hotels.
In 1997, Christian arrived in Egypt, where he became the production manager of a huge pastry industry, introducing French and Western desserts to the company. Throughout these years of experience, Christian has had the advantage of teaching in many languages, such as English, Spanish, and some Arabic.
Fascinated with French cooking, Christian enjoys sharing well-known and renowned French pastries. He loves the countless possibilities that can be elaborated with good quality French products, such as chocolate, butter, and cream.
Out of the kitchen, Christian enjoys traveling and getting to know the different gastronomies of every country so he would love to hear about the regional delicacies from where you arrive at our school!
His passion for travel has allowed him to enrich his ways of cooking pastries and sharing them with people from around the world.
