The advantage of celebrating New Year’s Eve in Paris is that there are so many options for the evening that you can be sure to put together the perfect night for you. Want to drink bubbles and snack on small plates all night? Pas de problème. Looking for a swanky night out? A trendy bistro vibe? Here are a few suggestions to help you plan a magical New Year’s Eve in Paris.

For a Classic French New Year’s Eve

For modern French fun, head to Marso & Co. Marso & Co. is a restaurant in Paris’s 13th arrondissement (16 rue Vulpian), associated with chef Tomy Gousset. It serves a travel-inspired, Mediterranean-leaning menu in a lively, artsy setting. They will be open on New Year’s Eve, and they have a fantastic menu lined up for 2025!

You can’t get more classic than Le Bistrot Paul Bert, which will be open during regular hours on New Year’s Eve. Be sure to reserve your spot in this bustling bistro well in advance if you want to be sure to get in one last steak frîtes before the new year.

Complete your French food and wine pairing with an iconic Paris experience to finish the year. Head to the Théâtre des Etoiles for a Cabaret Soirée that combines showmanship with a dance party and cocktail bar. If you’re not afraid of crowds, head to the Champs Elysées festivities, which include light shows throughout the evening and fireworks at midnight, and is the most quintessential New Year’s Eve in Paris you could imagine.

If you want haute cuisine in a laid-back environment, book a table at Le Saint Sebastien. This Paris restaurant has quickly become the city’s sweetheart, due largely to its exquisitely executed dishes and refined selection of craft beer and natural wine. The restaurant will be open for normal business hours on December
