The borders are open! Mandates are being loosened or dropped. We are back outside and ready to move about the world! That Girls Trip you’ve been putting off, it’s time to put it back on! While there are plenty of sights to see and things to do around Paris, a lot of people come here for the wine (and cheese). But, finding the right spot with the right ambiance for your perfect girls’ weekend in Paris can be a bit challenging. We’ve got you covered! Here are five bar à vins (wine bars) in the city to enjoy a pregame or a chill night with your girls. Think about making a reservation in advance and always drink in moderation.
1) Adonis Wine Bar – 36 rue Meslay 3rd arrondissement
If you love good products and good wine, Adonis is for you. They invite you to discover a different wine region each month and indulge in the foods from that region as well. Here is the place to put away your ideas of ‘I usually drink…’ and let them guide you towards something new in their chic and relaxed setting.
2) Chez Nous – 10 rue Dauphine 6th arrondissement
You walk in looking for the list, there isn’t one. But that’s okay, sometimes it’s nice to relax and let someone else make a suggestion for you. Tell them what you like, your flavor profile, or what you usually drink and they’ll make some suggestions for you. Also, if the truffle cheese is available, please do yourself a favor and order it!
3) L’Extra Brut – 19 rue Condorcet 9th arrondissement
If you love champagne, want to know Champagne, or just drink champagne; this is your place! Order a glass, or a flight to taste all three champagne grapes. Find champagne you love, buy the bottle to drink back at your hotel or Airbnb. Be sure to order the tarama to pair with your champagne, you will not be sorry.
4) Monsieur Alphonse – 8 rue de la Folie Mericourt 11th arrondissement
Excellent selection of wines and the cheese and charcuterie boards are top-notch. The decor makes this a cozy and trendy place. Add on excellent service, chill atmosphere, and great value for money, that’s Mr. Alphonse!
5) La Bascule – 24 rue Durantin 18th arrondissement
French tapas, cool music, great wines… What more can you ask for in this hip Montmartre neighborhood? Happy hour is 5 pm-8 pm, wine is 4€ per glass. For your girls’ trip, definitely reserve a table.
