Best of Brunch in Paris

While Winter may be taking its toll, you can still find some sort of sunshine during the month of February! (Talking about sunny side up eggs here!) So, ward off the winter blues by making a breakfast rendez-vous with friends at any of these warm and welcoming brunch spots in Paris

Boozy Brunch in Paris:

I think most grown-ups can agree that the best part of brunch is that it serves as an excuse for day drinking. But be warned- not all boozy brunches in Paris are created equal. If you’re looking forward to quality cocktails to go with your morning eggs, stick to the city’s best cocktail spots. Candelaria hosts a Mexican themed cocktail brunch on Saturdays and Sundays from 12-16h featuring special cocktails such as the Desafinado made with cachaรงa, vermouth, and hibiscus or the house special Bloody Maria. Treize Bakery, located next to Luxembourg Garden, is another great spot for brunch (served all day, every day) paired with creative cocktails. Grab some comfort food (French Toast & Chicken!) and sip a Moscow Mule or Honey Infused Bourbon to take the edge off this winter!

Brunch All Day, Every Day:

In addition to Treize, there are a few other places in Paris where brunch isn’t only reserved for the weekend. Take yourself out to Holybelly 5 for their famous pancakes and everyone’s favorite eggs & sides seven days a week. If you’re in the 11th arrondissement, head to Cafรฉ Mรฉricourt where the house specialty Shakshuka is the star of the week-long brunch menu.

Kid-Friendly Brunch:

The weekend is best spent en famille and who says brunch in Paris and babies are mutually exclusive? Grand Central, located in the 104 cultural centers, has a kid-friendly menu and even a playroom next door where little ones can burn off their post-brunch energy starting from 14h30.

Bottomless Brunch in Paris:

There is no place like Chez Casimir, where the food and wine flow freely and it’s impossible to go home hungry. On Saturday and Sunday morning 25 euro buys an all-you-can-eat brunch which includes self-serve seafood and starters buffet as well as a hot dish and a smorgasbord of cheeses and desserts to assure a fully gluttonous afternoon.

Brunch in Paris with a French Touch:

Located on one of Paris’ most charming streets, rue des Martyrs, Coquelicot is a little bakery with a big view. Head there early to get a seat on the terrace, where you can enjoy a cup of coffee and an oeuf ร  la coque as you watch the city wake up.

Vegan & Veggie Brunch:

Vegans and vegetarians shouldn’t feel left out when it comes to brunch in Paris. There is an increasing amount of morning meal options for plant-based eaters in Paris. Supernature has a vegan brunch for 25 euro and Le Potager de Charlotte hosts a โ€œPetit Dรฉjeuner Tardifโ€ on Sunday mornings with plenty of vegan and vegetarian options.
