Each booking in this class is for 1 adult + 1 child. If you have an extra adult or child you will need to book them into their own duo spot so that we can avoid overbooking the class. Small class sizes ensure our classes have hands-on learning and an enjoyable experience for kids and adults alike.

While we offer several family classes that will let you cook & bake with your kids in Paris, our exclusive chocolate class for kids (ages 6 – 12) promises a sweet, hands-on experience that will ignite their creativity and tickle their taste buds. This chocolate class in Paris is 100% kid-only and kid-approved! With the popularity of our adults’ chocolate class, we wanted to bring something nice and sweet for your little chefs-to-be.

We will use top-quality Valrhona Chocolate made from the purest cocoa beans, and all the equipment will be provided.

During this immersive class, young aspiring chocolatiers (ages 6 – 12) will embark on a chocolaty journey that’s both entertaining and educational. They’ll have the chance to create three delectable projects.

  Wow. Our kids (7 and 10yo boys) just finished the chocolate workshop with chef Christian. I couldn't believe all the things they made (e.g. marshmallow teddy bears. Caramel lolly pops, Christmas tree mandients, and truffles). They came out of the class with huge smiles, saying it was the BEST class ever. They had so much fun, and can't stop talking about it.   A Must for Kids
If you’re looking for the best kids’ cooking class in Paris, look no further than Cooking With Class! I spent a lot of time researching different options before our trip, and I am so happy we chose this one.

Chef Christian was absolutely incredible—patient, engaging, funny, and wonderful with children. My daughters, ages 8 and 10, were completely captivated from start to finish. They learned how to make everything from scratch, including marshmallow bears, caramel lollipops, cookies decorated with colorful candies, and rich cocoa chocolate balls. Every child left with an impressive assortment of treats they were so proud to have made themselves.

What I loved most was that this class was about so much more than just making sweets. Chef Christian taught the kids about the history of chocolate, shared real cooking techniques and recipes, and emphasized the importance of keeping a clean and organized kitchen while they worked. It was educational, hands-on, and so much fun.

Both of my daughters said it was one of their favorite activities in Paris and are already asking to come back! If you’re visiting Paris with kids and want an experience that’s memorable, interactive, and truly worth your time, I can’t recommend Cooking With Class enough. You won’t regret it!

Chefs Sarah and Christian were amazing teachers for the kids chocolate and express croissant classes! The kids had a blast and we loved being able to do a quick croissant class at the same time. Highly recommend for families in Paris!

  Our child had so much fun learning to make chocolates
Our 6 year son had so much fun making chocolate and chocolate candies. The pastry chef/instructor Christian was so wonderful with the kids and he was very patient and encouraging - and fun! He made cooking so much fun!! 
And, we had no idea how many different chocolates and fillings they would be making, making the cost of the class an inexpensive, fun way to spend the morning together.

 Verified Best experience with kids in Paris!
Best experience in Paris! We brought our kids (6 & 10) - and the young one do not speak English yet. Before the visit, we spoke to Jessica, who gave us the best service - she asked Chef Christian, if we, the parents, where allowed to be in class and translate for the kids. So we went all 4 of us and had the BEST experience! The time passed so fast! Nice, cozy place - easy to find. Only 3 kids in class, so everybody did everything. Chef Christian was so welcoming, great with the kids, friendly etc. The perfect host! Great value for money - you leave with massive amount of chocolate! An absolute pleasure and an experience, we will never forget:)

Two of my kids (Elijah and Aliyah) attended the chocolate-making class for children at Cook’n With Class in Paris, and they absolutely loved it! Chef Christian was fantastic—so patient, kind, and engaging with the group of eight energetic kids. The class was hands-on, fun, and just the right mix of learning and sweet indulgence.

Registration was super easy, and the communication beforehand was smooth. That said, I highly recommend booking early once you know your travel dates—these classes fill up fast (for good reason)!

Took a wonderful express Croissant class with Chef Sarah today while my son took the kids’ chocolate making class with Chef  Christian. We both absolutely loved it. We took a macaron class with  Chef Sarah 3 years ago and were so happy to come back and do it again. Highly recommend!

  This is the second class that my family and I took at Cook'n With Class. We loved the first one so much that we went back for a second one! We did a chocolate-making class with Chef Christian and it was amazing. Chef Christian planned an incredible class for me and my family. The chocolate was delicious and it was so much fun. Is the Kids' Chocolate Class taught in English?

Yes! All of our kids chocolate classes are taught in English. If you’re looking for a class taught in French you can consider booking a Private Class with us.

What is the age limit for this class?

For the kids joining this class, the youngest age we can accept in this class is 6 years old, and the maximum age we can accept is 12 years old.

If your child is older than 12, they might enjoy either our Cuisine en Famille Class for ages 9 – 15 years.

Can I join this class if I have allergies or dietary restrictions?

If you or your child has food allergies, feel free to contact us to find out the menu planned for the month you’re interested in. This will help determine whether the class is suitable for your needs.

You can instead consider joining our Patisserie en Famille Class, Cuisine en Famille Class or our Macaron en Famille Class.

What happens if I need to cancel or reschedule my class?

To ensure an immersive experience for all participants, we limit our class sizes. Consequently, our cancellation policy is designed to accommodate everyone’s interests while considering the impact of blocked seats. Please review the following guidelines:

Cancellation 45 days or more prior to the class:
A refund of the fee is available, with a deduction of 50 euros per person booked as a cancellation fee.
We are delighted to assist you in rescheduling your class based on availability. Please note that rescheduled dates may be subject to changes in pricing and depend on the availability of our schedule.

Cancellation 45 days or less prior to the class:
The fee is non-refundable, however, you have the flexibility to reschedule your class or transfer your booking to another person within 6 months from the original class date. Rescheduled dates may be subject to changes in pricing and depend on the availability of our schedule. If no rescheduling or transfer occurs during this 6-month period, the credit will be canceled.

Cancellation Less than 72 hours before the class or after the date of the class:
The fee is non-refundable, and rescheduling is not permitted.

Prepaid packages:
Purchased prepaid packages are non-refundable. You may transfer any unused portion of your package to another party within the validity period. Please note that transferred packages are subject to availability, and rescheduled dates may be subject to changes in pricing.
